On Wednesday late in the afternoon while under a severe thunderstorm watch all day – a large cell hit the village of Lake George including the Georgian Resort. Numerous cars were damaged with broken windshields, rear windows and many dents – all from an intense thunderstorm with large hail. See the storm below. The Georgian also suffered roof damage to the Lobby Building and Giovanna’s On The Lake Restaurant. Repairs are underway and should be completed soon.
