Adventure Near The Georgian In Lake George

Parasailing is fun, safe and thrilling! The view of the lake and mountains is unparalleled. The Folks at Parasailing Adventures are right down Canada Street from the Georgian.
Whitewater Rafting and Whitewater Tubing are available on The Sacandaga River near Lake Luzerne and also on The Upper Hudson River near North Creek. The Sacandaga offers a very dependable dam release on 3 1/2 miles of River with rafting and whitewater tubing trips offered daily. It’s a great Summer Cooler! The trip is suitable for all ages 5 and above, and is a great beginner whitewater adventure (trips are usually an hour and half long). Whitewater on The Upper Hudson River is a longer Adventure Class whitewater rafting trip covering 16 miles of grand Adirondack Wilderness and great whitewater fun! This trip also has a very dependable dam release with Summer Trips run on Tuesday, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Minimum age for the Hudson is 8 years old in the Summer with higher age limits in the Spring. See ARO Adventures or Whitewater Challengers for Hudson River Trips. WILDWATERS and Beaver Brook also run trips on The Hudson River. Lazy River Tubing – For a little tamer ride – with little or no rapids – try tubing near Lake Luzerne on the Hudson River with Tubby Tubes or Adirondack Tubing.

New this Summer is a second Adventure Ropes Course in North River with Whitewater Challengers. Canoe and Kayak Rental and Guided Trips – The Georgian has kayak and paddle boat rentals right off our beach for use on Lake George ($20 first hour, $10/hr. additional hours – contact the front desk.. Or, take in a group kayak tour on Lake George with the folks at Lake George Kayak Company. They have lots of trip and rental options including stand up paddle boards. Another great canoe and kayak option is Beaver Brook Outfitters (they also outfit on the Sacandaga and Hudson Rivers) with rentals and guided trips on the Lower Hudson River – fast moving flat water with a couple very small rapids.
