Snow Storm for the Weekend!

Hey it’s winter and this is what we love – a major snowstorm for the Adirondacks and the Lake George Area.  Check out the forecast map.CONUS1_ETA212_SFC_ACCUMSNOWFALL-KUCHERA_84HR  The brown color is 20″!  So, skiing and snowboard conditions will be fantastic.  You can access the Gore Mt. Ski Report, the West Mt. Ski Report, and The Garnet Hill Cross Country Ski Report.

The storm will open the South Warren Snowmobile trail network and trails to the North and South.  You can check out the Snowmobile trail conditions here.

Winter Carnival Off To a Great Start!

skiing couple Georgian ResortThe 52nd edition of the Lake George Winter Carnival is off to a great start!  This past weekend saw a record field for the outhouse races.  See some photos here.  Coming up this weekend – Saturday, Feb. 9th and Sunday, Feb. 10th, is the Lake George Winter Carnival “Carnival Cup”  SnoCross Event – each day at 10:30AM at the Westbrook Rd. Park (the old Gaslight Village Property.)  This is exciting snowmobile racing – just like the X-Games!  Here is the schedule for this weekend…

Winter Carnival 2013!

thJoin us starting this weekend – it’s Lake George Winter Carnival!  There is plenty to see and do and all the events take place either at Shepard Park or the old Gaslight Village property – Westbrook and Beach Road.  The ice on the lake is still there (the lake froze last week) – and much colder temperatures are in the forecast beginning tonight.   See the complete Winter Carnival Schedule

Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 22 and the Georgian offers one of the area’s best Thanksgiving Dinner Celebrations.  We will be serving our Thanksgiving Buffet Dinner from 11:30AM to 4:00PM.  See our Thanksgiving menu here.  Room packages from $135/couple include room, Continental Breakfast, and the Thanksgiving Dinner.
Watch Lake George Village come to life for the Holidays - Saturday, Nov. 24th – with 3500 lights in Shepard Park.  Lights of the season will be strung and there will be activities for the kids, including a petting zoo and a visit from Santa.
