Concerts and Music
Start our with The Lake George Music Festival with concerts scheduled thru August 21 at various Lake George venues, culminating with a Festival Symphony Orchestra concert in nearby Shepard Park on Thursday, August 21 at 7:30. This should be awesome – with Fireworks following at 9:30PM! See the complete Lake George Music Festival Schedule here. The Georgian has live music on the Patio this Thursday 5-9PM (fireworks at 9:30PM) with Spellbound and Saturday with Chuck Kelsey 5-9PM. See more information on our Entertainment Page. If you need to rock out – take in the Out of Control R&B Band on Wednesday at 7:30 in Shepard Park.

Travers Week – Saratoga Racetrack
This is also Travers Week at Saratoga Racetrack – just a half hour South of Lake George. The Travers is Saratoga’s most anticipated race, the $1.25 million Travers, will return for its 145th running on Saturday, August 23rd – First post-time is 11:35 a.m. and gates open at 7 a.m. See more Saratoga Racetrack Special Events here.

Two great events for families with kids – every Wednesday the Lake George Association heads out with the Floating Classroom – Leaving from Lake George Village Dock, they offer public programs on Wednesdays in July and August, from 10 am -12 pm or 1 pm – 3 pm. Don’t miss the Heroic Corn Maze at Fort Ticonderoga August 15-October 19 – 10AM-5PM – pictured right. This is a great attraction in addition to Fort tours and the fabulous Kings Garden – a little fun and a lot of history! Info here
